My engine was sitting on a pallet outside on the driveway covered by a tarp when we left for a 9 day vacation. Apparently we had strong wind while I was gone and the tarp was blown loose exposing the engine to the rain. I had the engine ready to install with the intake, and exhaust manifolds off (rags stuffed in the ports to keep stuff out) as well as all the accessories. The coils were also exposed. It will probably take me at least a couple of more weeks to get this engine swapped in and ready to run. Should I do anything special to flush the water out of the engine and prevent rust?
