Opinions for wheel and drop combo...

Didn't know where to post this so...

I was always wanting thr 4/6 with the 20" wheels, however, I know when I swap to a LS1, LQ4 or LQ9 around the end of this year that I have heard that 2/4 and 18s would be a better option for performance...
I'm looking for performance and appearance...
Also my truck is a daily driver and I don't know if 4/6 might be alittle too much for the florida potholes and parking bumpers...

So what should I do?
4/6 with 18"s
4/6 with 20"s
2/4 with 18"s
2/4 with 20"s

isnt option 2 and 4 the same?

ive got a 4/6 and ive got ss 20s coming soon. ill let you know how it goes.

why not settle in the middle for a 3/5? i would go for a set of billet 18's for decent performance, they are still big enough to look good and the fact that 20's are played out...everyone and their mamas drive on 20's now days :doh:

Yea, it was sorry. It was really late... or early if your a morning person, I wasn't all there. =P :whack:

So for whatever it is worth. I have a 4/6 on 18's and I have enjoyed this for quite
a while. But I can say that not long after I got those wheels, I wished I had 20's.
Also the 18's don't fill the fender wells as well, if that is important to ya.

I agree everyone has 20's+ these days but if 20's are played out then 18's are played out even more! If I were you I would do the 2/4 with 20's. The reason I would do this is when I go to the track I take my 20's off but with the LS1 (which is basiclly the same as the 6.0) on the street I can handle mine (even w/o n20) and still look good. Im nto saying 18 dont look good becuase they do. So if you want a all around setup performance and looks and you go to the track often and dont swap tires get the 18's
If you never are hardley ever go to the track get the 20's If you go to the track alot and have a set of track wheels get the 20's! Not that you cant run with 20's at the track!

it takes 20's and a decent sidewall tire to fill the wheel wells. I messed up and bought a smaller sidewall combo and I regret it. therefore, i have been trying to roast these off so i have and excuse to buy the right size. :burnout:
