Currently with the rear mount, my IAT's only get up to about 15* over ambient. What kind of IAT's are you guys seeing with front mount turbos?
my last setup usually seen on average 15* above ambiet when under boost for a full pull. the times when i ran e85 mix i seen the IATs drop below ambiet on a full pull.
IAT can be effected by how effecient the setup is

I am new to the site and I have read alot of threads where you know your sh*t. With that being said it is only my question. If the fuel is not going through the intake track how does it cool the charge? The cooling effect that alcohol based fuels provide are usually pre intake injected or carbed.
Trust me I am not arguing, I can see cyl head temps or EGTs lower, But IAT's?
If you tell me that you have datalogged the fuels back to back, I will take your word for it. I am just struggling to comprehend how.
Depends where the iat sensor is located as well
Might consider water to air with a front mount. Much shorter pipe routing. Less pressure drop. More consistent temps = Less tuning issues on multiple passes or possible heatsoak

I'd like to run an A/W intercooler but the cost is the only thing stopping me. Keeping this intercooler is free. I also plan on relocating the IAT sensor to directly in front of the throttle body, mainly so the ECM will recognize the temp drop when the meth sprays.
