The LS2 crank will have to be rebalanced for the LS1. Yes, you can put the internals in the LS1 minus the pistons. The LS2 cam will require an LS2 front cover for the cam sensor pickup. You'll also need the LS2 cam gear if using the LS2 cam.

Not at all, depending on what kind of powering your wanting to make just port the 241's and put a nice cam in it, stock internals will hold more than enough power for such a light car. I just picked up a ls1 yesterday to put into a fc rx7 :devil: there fun swaps and can go high 10's with just 450hp or something like that

MunsonAuto on here has done a 240x swap I believe. Actually he's done a swap in about every little car you can think of. He doesn't post here anymore but I know how to get a hold of him.
there's a guy on base here with a 97 240sx running what started as a TBSS 6.0 & is now a 6.7 with standard bolt-ons.
