Thats so sick
Thanks, hopefully in the next year or so, as money allows, it will have a lift, wide track D44 axles and 33" tires. Then it will be a pretty solid offroad vehicle.
I wanted to do this swap on my jeep before I sold it. Seemed fairly simple.
It's simple except we had some issues when we started a few years ago because people rarely retained the factory stick shift, most people went with the 4L60E
I'd have to have gone with 80e
factory stick shift FTW! me likey, get rid of the stock intake tube.
An automatic in a Jeep is a sin. The T18 is a dump truck tranny so it will take the power like a champ.
Intake tube will be gone soon. Wanted to keep it looking as factory as possible for the smog nazi
Good job! Cali is bad with motor swaps but I know they can be done. Did you have to get an adapter for the trans?
Yeah I got all the adapters from Novak and I used an old chevy Manual tranny bell housing. Also got the kit from novak adapters to convert to a hydraulic clutch...well worth the money.
