YIKES!! thats expensive, i guess in a way your lucky your not 4x4 like me, i cant imagine what theyd quote me for both front and rear
$1500 isnt bad depending on what locker your having quoted. my brother spent almost $1000 just swapping gears front and rear. so if you add a full locker and gears with labor its not too bad. lookin on jegs a detroit locker is $630, ring and pinion with install kit is $325. thats close to a grand plus the shops markup on the products and labor. its only money. im sure if you take your time you can install it all yourself. good luck gary
Not sure how far Chi-Kago is from you. But PM Truckin..He looks like a terrorist, but I am sure he might lend ya a hand. He appears to quite knowledgable. Just take him fishing after.
isnt it a user install type thing? come over to my house, we'll figure it out together!
A guy that comes into my work, said he used to do them for a living, has all the tools, said he'd help me do it, but won't do it for money.
I just don't want to be driving and have an axle come out, or gear go BOOM!
trans/rears are something I'd rather not mess with.
