4wd Lowering Options
I got a 01 Gmc sierra with 4wd and it's already lowered 2/4, but thats not quite low enough for me. Right now the front torsion bars are turned down and shackles in the rear. I want my top of my tire to sit flush with the fender opening. My summer tires are 305/45/20 all the way around. I've seen some trucks around town that have the stance I want and I think it is 4/6 drop but I was just seeing if anyone had ideas on how to do that with a 4wd truck.

Info is around somewhere. Search search search. Search on silveradoss.com A sticky section there has great info on lowered 4wd. Try performancetrucks.net as well.

HD keys and spindles in the front, flip kit in the rear

good luck with a 4/6 and that wide of a tire.

I got a "4-6" on mine, I have the HD keys, spindles in the front and hangers, springs, and shackles in the back. My tires are 255/55/18 (F) and 285/60/18 (R) and the back is less then a fingertip from rubbing, so I don't think those tires will work with it that low.

I have 3/5. Spindles, decranked stock keys in front. hangers and shackles in first position and block removed in rear.
I have 305/40/22s on 9.5 +60 rims, no rubbing, but I think any lower in the front and it would.
