welcome to awesomeness!
There's a first time for everything! How much trouble did u have putting it in......2nd gear?
haha, no problems w/ shifting. I stalled it right from the start because i didnt release the clutch quick enough. the only problem i had was braking, because my "instructor" failed to mention that you have to press the clutch when you brake, but i got it down pretty quick
Don't sweat it bro, it will come with practice. In my book, the best thing to remember is every clutch is different. Once you get a feel for a vehicle's clutch, you can drive any manual.
Did that guy put in a BBC 454? Ford didn't out a 7.4L motor in their trucks...they had a 7.3L/444 C.I diesel and a 7.5L/460 C.I. gas motor.
Awesome. :thumb: A manual is my tranny of choice. I have seriously debated putting a T-56 in my truck several times...
LOL, with that truck, the 1st gear is a granny gear used for towing. Around town with no load, it is best to take off from a stop in second... But this is all guessing the truck has the stock drivetrain.
