I know the guys with automatics can just use the flexplate that comes with the v8 but what do I do about a flywheel/clutch setup? Did the 5.3/6.0 come with 5 speeds? That's the only part of the swap I haven't figured out.

Well nevermind, turns out the NV3500 is only rated to 285 lb ft of torque. Do they make performance rebuild kits for the NV3500?
They make an NVG 4500 but it has crap ratios for performance.
Sucks. A T56 would be cool but the with all of the extra money involved I might as well turbo the V6. That and Quik has all of those clutch problems.
A T-56 is a good way to, keep in mind Quik is pushing 700 hp so that adds a little additional stress. Another way to go is the tremec TKO600 it's a 5speed and TurboMic ran one pushing 600+. When I go LS I'll go with a T56
