So I bought a 2000 RC with a 4.3 v6 :( to tinker with, already have a 5.3l longblock that Im picking up when I go get the truck. Now I have came across a decent deal on a 6.0l too that I can pick up on the same trip for a decent price. The 6.0l also has alot of the pieces I need to complete the 5.3 so it would kinda kill two birds with one stone.
What would your choice be
get the 6.0 u will regret it if you dont...i know i do :(
i dont, 6.0s are over rated, own em with a 5.3 its funnier that way.

from a performance point of view...the larger motor will always have more torque. the HP between the two will be close with the same mods.
Not really. A cammed full bolt on 5.3 will always put out less than the same setup on a 6.0 you could probably get another 50hp out of the extra cubes.Quote:
