Longtube header choice

whats my best bet for picking a set that will fit really good on a 2006 5.3 4x4? I like the new LPP's but i read the problems with the Y pipe hitting the driveshaft, and the drivers side header hitting the steering shaft. The pacesetters seem to have really crappy coating not sure on fitment. Haven't found much on the OBX lt's, they fit good? i see they are stainless. I also thought i saw some mention the Tri Y from thorley but according to what i looked at they only make shorties.

SO what is my best bet on what to go with?

I love my pacesetters,fit nice ,look good and i live in the north .the only place they actually peeld any was were i had the header wrap on underneath.idk y tho.Im thinking too much heat or moisture held in.they went in easy and no fitting problems.

I got obx's on mine and could not be happier. The band clamps suck that came with them, and your going to need some metal zip ties to tie up two of the plug wires on the driver's side. The fitment is great and other than the plug wires they don't touch anywhere.

^ so the plug wire's coming in contact i just read about is easy to prevent?

dynatech are a little more expensive but i love them

I just installed my pace setters today with the ory. The only fitment issue i had was with one of the primaries hitting on my front yoke just had to dent that a little bit and some the plug wires rest on some of the primaries.

hum ,never heard of that,primary hitting the d/s yolk

it's real easy to prevent just need some metal zip ties, and some heat sleeves cost me 30 bucks at the auto store.
