I was given a very good deal on a cam kit that i am going to purchase but I was told it was a 3 bolt cam, im wondering if my 4.8 is a 3 bolt or a single bolt?
Thanx in advance!

yours is 3 bolt
yup 3bolt,07 nnbs+ are one bolt
Did they just start the 1 bolt with the LS3 ? or LS2
sweet! :dancenana: thats a relief i was woried about that i couldent remember what year it was
Now does the 06 have the front cam sensor or the rear? And is there a difference in the cams?
If you have a single you can still use a 3 bolt cam, you just got to replace the cam sprocket to match. Or am i wrong.
there is a special sprocket you have to get to generate 4 pulses per revolution of the cam versus 2 pulses in the older model. Surely someone already is marketing the 3 bolt 4 pulse cam sprocket.
so the cam sprocket itself is smaller on the nnbs.
same size just generates twice as many signals as it spins around.
