Removed Lift

Removed my lift and front axle to day. Converting to 2WD. I will converting my 4WD trans to a build 4L65 in about a month. Need a lowering kit. I got my Soft 8 in today also 17x8 and will use 275/60/17. will post as I go. Also LPP long tube will be here Sat.

Lookin good man! Mines still a 4wd I havent converted yet, I just made it easier on myself and just found some stock keys and shackles. Heres as it sits right now, need some HD keys and 2" drop shackles:

I want to convert to Autotrac so I can get the full benefit of a 4wd launch since I cant right now cause the manual 4x4s dont have the auto clutch that disengages :ma:.

What are your plans for the motor and rear end?

You saw that banana, it was snack time in the shop and there was one on the power steering pump too!

Aggie, I have manual 4X4 as well. Are you saying you dont launch in 4 wheel drive becaue you cant disengage mid-track? I run mine in 4 wheel drive the whole way down the track. C/O '99 by the way.
