I'm about to swap the cam, and a friend have a set of 317's that he is selling me, will they improve performance over my stock ones?? I don't even know which ones I have.. I will port and polish either mines or the 317's..

317's are for 6.0's.
yeah I know, the guy said they fit my 5.3L.. I'm wondering if they would increase performance over my stock ones
317's will lower the compression and allow for more boost. So, ya in a way it will increase performance especially with a little P&P.
is that improvement worth $300??
Is that just for the heads? Then add for the p&p? Typically for any FI, the 317's are a good inexpensive mod to make. I was thinking about getting some as well. You can find them for around $250 with rockers and springs quite often.Quote:
