i have the comp 216-220-525-532-114 comp cam and it is a good cam.

I think www.thunderracing.comhas one called the "Old Man" cam. It's on a 115 LSA so it won't have hardly any lope. Check it out, it may be what you're looking for. Mine( In Sig) has a little lope and makes great power in the 5.3

I too was going to mention something like a 214/220 .520/.530 114LSA. Should pull well to 6K and have great bottom-end and midrange power.
Don't forget you will need higher lift springs to go with the cam. I'd also go with a set of hardened pushrods...

ok, im going with: Comp Cams LS1 Camshaft - 216 / 220 .525 / .532 114 LSA 1300-6300 RPM Power Band. Computer Tuning Required with automatic transmission cars. One of our most popular cams...This has proven to be a very well balanced camshaft in that it makes good power across the entire RPM range. Works well with Crane 1.8 Roller Rockers.
What else do i need with this? Rods? rockers? name it all please!
I should get my stage 3 ported TB this week, i heard they pull like a bitch over stock  then i will get the tune after i get my headers.

to be honest. if it was me -and it was not long ago-i would do it all.
hardened push rods----comp 918's or equivelent---cam install gasket kit. a good torque wrench. a very good 8mm 6 point socket. and >>>>>
