ok on my truck when ever i turn the steering wheel it makes a little squeaky sound..and it stops when i the steering wheels is strait ..any ideas??

Does it sound like it is coming from the inside steering column or from the underhood pump or rack and pinion setup?
Inner tie rods go out quick on those trucks especially with bigger, heavier wheels. Check your bushings also, you could have some metal on metal. Are your tires wearing evenly?
My steering makes all kinda of noises, when I turn it makes a bunch of thunk noises. Im runnin 35x13.5R18's which is prob. my problem :lol:
You need a new intermediate steering shaft. I've had mine regreased once, fixed it for awhile but it is banging again. Gonna replace it this time.Quote:
