why does it feel that when you leave the line at wot is not faster than when you accelerate gradualy? or am i wrong?? because i feel the truck faster when i step on the gas like 1/2 throttle and keep on it as the truck moves... other that leave the line at wide open throttle...
how am i supposed to race in the 1/4 of mile?? wot or gradually?

Somethin aint right. Mine does that but it is the whipple electronics on mine that are being removed as I type this.
It may be the DBW. You would have to look at the actual amount the throttle body is opening, not the amount you push on the gas.
what do you mean by DBW?? so how are we suppose to race in a quarter of mile? always at WOT??
Drive By Wire.
No, Its in the tune. If you push your pedal all the way down, your throttle body will not open automatically to a wide open position. A custom tune from Nelson Performance will fix it.
DBW means drive by wire
DBC means drive by cable.

As stated - DBW is Drive By Wire which can be misleading...it just means it's controlled electronically by the computer as opposed to DBC which is a mechanically operated throttle body,
yeah, exactly... my truck does the same... it seems like it chokes for a second, and then it recovers... and it is DBW.. and, i have the nelson tune on it.. i have to say that it is better after the tune but still a little slow at the beginning...
my friend's 2000 silverado DBC is fast when you step on it.. i mean, no lag on the throttle.. can i get a DBC on my truck? where can i find it? is it worth it? thanks again..
