Alright guys i've been beating down doors on a couple other forums including ls1tech.com and they pretty much couldn't care less about anything to do with my 03 2500 6.0L unless i was pulling the 6.0 out to put it in a Fbody.
I've been around Ls1's for awhile but this is the first one i've owned and plan on putting some time into.
As for the truck its a 2003 2500 6.0L/4l80E reg cab long bed 2wd. bought it with 105K on it. I've already had to deal with a list of problems trying to get it up to speed but now i'm getting into the more fine tunning and starting into the upgrades after i see everything is 100%.
As for the turbo chevy name its due to a mix of my s10 with the built typhoon motor setup, and i've got a 6.5 turbo diesel thats semi built up and then two more duramax's a 2005 and 2007 thats in the family i work on maint and upgrading.

Any plans for the 2500HD? Even if you don't, we can help you spend a bunch of money to make it wayyy better... Since you are into turbo setups, have you considered a turbo for the HD? There are a few good quality setups for your rig...

Thanks guys! Well as for the 2500 I do have some plans just not 100% sure what yet.. I need it to do a couple key things that i'm sure will throw off any big big power plans.
I have a 20ft gooseneck the s10, jeep or atvs rides on.. empty weighing in at 3700 lbs and loaded were looking at somewhere between 7700 lbs and 9,000 lbs but usually around that 7500-8000lbs. I haven't towed it yet and don't even had a hitch in it but my main tow rig is a 1995 6.5L CC LB that just flat gets it.. loaded truck 5 people 10,000lbs towing holding 75-80mph up hills getting 13-14mpg. But i still want the 03 to be able to do it.
Second the truck is my DD.. i've already got two garage queens (s10 and a Jeep). Best i've EVER done for gas milage was 17.3 mpg and that was 95% highway...I would like to see 17-20 (i know i know..)

So The truck does has 3.73's which seem to suit it pretty well keeping it around 2000-2300 rpms at highway speeds and always has plenty of power or what power TM doesn't rape out of it between the pedal and rear tires lol.
I'm hoping to get all the problems fixed before i start into upgrades..Like i still smell coolant in the cab and outside, can't find a leak but i've lost about half inch in the coolant tank in the last 4000 miles.
Still has a rough idle - i did post another thread about that..
My new trans with 27k on it and a transgo/turner(local shop) shift kit. Is amazing, shift awesome etc etc after years in the 4l60e's, i love it.. but its done this weird thing twice where if i'm all over it and stop then get on it again it feels like someones holding the brakes or you've got a 2500rpm stall and just kinda slams and takes off. Its done it twice in 5000 miles. (stop go and traffic jam on the high way) -There is more to this story if anyone thinks they are hot on the trail of whats messed up. its got a brand new valve body in it.
Also the rear axle is leaking out of pinion.. i so don't want to mess with that and screw up the crush sleeve.. any pointers?
i've already put new knock sensors, intake gaskets, ac irid plugs, crame 25 ohm wires, replaced blower resister and part of the harness.., New bilstien HD shocks, the new trans, then shift kit, then valve body..., new tailgate post..(idoits had one loose and missing the other..
I paid 5000 bucks for the truck so i'm still ahead of the curve lol and ready and willing to drop some money in it, Solid truck with all maint records from new 1 owners oil ever 5000 miles or less..but somehow still completly messed up the original 4l80E.

Other side notes i will need help with..
Were building a 1955 first series 3100 pickup this winter, frame off etc etc we want to put a drive by wire 6L 4l80e lq4 or lq9 in.. Need pointers on harness etc.
I MIGHT be dumping Megasquirt on the S10 and going to LS1 computer and custom harness (local shop is WAY pushing me..) I'm STILL having problems with megasquirt and stock computer shifting 4l60E in it.

hehehe... You said MegaSquirt.... hehehe... Since you are going to be doing some towing...definitely a Magnacharger!!! Along with LT headers, 3" ORY, CAI, ported TB, and a custom tune... With that, you are so money!

Who does the porting on the TB's or where are instructions, and .. time to show my nebie.. what is a ORY?..
who makes LT's to fit 2500 6.0L part #.. prices anything lol
