im looking to lower my truck 2'' 4'' and was wondering if anyof you guys have had experience with this company. i wanted to use the spindles in the front. and i was also wondering if i can expect to to run into any suspension problems such as broken tierods every now and then, or things of that nature.

there isnt really any problems with the kit, its nice. Mcgaughty's is teh best stuff around as far as I am conerned. I ahvew used Belltech, DJM, all that, but Mcgaughty was spot on. I have a great seller for it PM me.
ID suggest a notch or helper bags
They make quality products. I ran their spindles on my 92 and the truck rode and drove very nice without any bumpsteer problems.
sweet ya im not ready to do any cutting.....ie: notch. but i was wondering is the carrier bearing relocater kit necessary? and is your ride quaity still decent? and are my stock wheels 17's? because i saw that you have to use 17's or bigger in order to run the new spindles.

any one know how difficult it is to change spindles?
I want to do a 2 4 drop also.
i'm running mcgaughy's 2" drop spindles and i did notice a little decrease in turning radius. not all that important because the only time i would be making a tight turn is in a u-turn situation.
as for breaking tierods, i haven't experienced that but i have had the driverside tierod replaced twice after they were installed. i was told that it was bent. i wish i could have looked at it after they replaced it to see the difference.
i would suggest replacing your stock shocks too.
i talked to the people at mcgaughy's and they told me i didn't need to.
i did anyway because the stock shocks rode to soft and bouncy.

It's not bad at all just make SURE you dont tear up the grease boots because then you have to replace the entire upper and lower control arm just for the boots. I tried universal boots but they just wouldnt hold grease.
Don't use a pickle form to seperate the ball joints. Smack the casting with a heavy hammer from the side to release the ball joints from the taper. They also make a ball joint tool that is weighted and pushes on the balljoint unlike the pickle fork method.
ya the reason i was worried about the tierods was because, i saw one of mcgaughys ads in truckin and it talked about if ur not using there gm approved spindles and going with just shackles and hangers,shocks from other companys your more likely to run into suspension problems down the road. can you tell any increasue in performance handeling with the 2-4?
