Thats so sick...Bet that will add some badass power
Man that thing isn't cheap!
I think it says it comes with the electronics(wiring and computer) to run it. :thumb: It comes with the ignition control module, wiring and MAP sensor!

for $1600.00 jeeeezzzz....
g'bye carbs... hello EFI.
heck id make a dual 4bbl throttle manifold from sheet metal for the
grins. use two 500cfm tb and itd be pretty streetable...
or make a "weber" style injection with 1.50-1.75 throttle bores
for street and 2.25 for WFOT...
looks cool.. but not for me
airdeano
The non-polished version is $1380.99. That's a dual four barrel intake, two 500 CFM carbs, linkages and brackets, fittings, fuel rail, electronic ignition controller and wiring harness. I'm not sure how much of the wiring harness that is but a custom wiring harness is $600+, a tune is $XXX and then you still don't get the freaking cool factor of having dual four barrel carbs on your ride. I can see that setup on tons of street rods. You lose the ability to tune your own PCM but for out of the box that's a sweet setup. :thumb:
I thought about putting carbs on my ls1 swap so I wouldn't have to deal with the wiring. Not to mention, when I purchased my truck it had no wiring or dash for that matter. When I say no wiring, I mean none. What do you guys think about carb'ing an ls1. I'm in Nevada now, but i'm relocating to Dallas this summer and I wonder what smogging a carbed '92 chevy p-up would be like.
If you can pass the sniffer test you may be okay. They put the vehicle up on a rolling road dyno and check the emissions with a sniffer on pre-OBDII vehicles.
I'm not a carb guy,but some of the guys I work with are into the old school stuff and they tell me to just lean it out until it passed then put it back to where I needed it (jetting). I don't know if it's that simple or not. Going back to the absence of wiring, I also thought of doing a beefed 700r4(4l60). I saw an Edelbrock intake for like $400 and then add the carb... it didn't sound to bad. I've got more than that into piecing my motor together already.
