    just called competition sales. theirs are $239. called dealer he says they have an available kit thats sells for $600. what the fudge man? does the comp sales sound right? any suggestions where to buy and get good install, and about how long does an average install take. would be cool. its october so its my time to get my truck together. or what about this set?

    dont they make some trucks stock with 3.73???

    ive been tryin to find that question out for a lil while... if they do i would just go to a junkyard and pull a whole rearend off a totaled pickup

    Mines got 3.73s stock. Don't tahoes have them?

    TX, those gears in the ebay link are the wrong ones for your truck. Those are 7.5", You need 8.5".

    Speed Engineering has Richmond 3.73&#39;s for &#036;169.00. That is what i would purchase if it were me.

    when you upgrade the gearing will i need to get anything done to my transmission after the install? who&#39;s a good install guy?

    Tbyrne is having a sale, too. Call them for their discount price. They won&#39;t email or pm pricing but if you email or call them they will quote you a price by phone. Be sure you include your phone number when emailing.

    If you still stay in DeerPark theres a place in Pasadena that charges &#036;350 to install. Its off the beltway and Pine St, probally have to go to Spencer and turn around if your coming from 225 . Driveline is the name of the shop. Thats the going price for rearend shops. There was some local guy from pt.net charging &#036;150 but is not doing anymore till the begining of thr year. Goodluck
