what contols my fuel on a 99 6.0??

i got a 99 nbs sierra and swapped a 6.0 into it. since the swap it starts hard and it getting way to much gas. only starts when i hold the throttle wide open. and then smells like gas. no codes thrown but also have cats deleated and tune shuts the light off so not sure if code would be thrown for 02 sensors etc... and getting 10 to 11 mpg driving daily.

check the fuel pressure regulator to see if its leaking. Pull the vacuum hose off the intake while it's idling and see if it's pushing any fuel out of it. You could also try replacing the cam sensor to see if that's the issue with the hard starts.

It's way to rich and when you hold it wide open on start it goes into "flood clear" mode or whatever it's called and shuts off the injectors.

True. Also, when you go WOT the pcm reverts to the open loop tune and pays no attention to the 02 sensor feedback.

i dont have any fuel leaks and have good pressure. when you said to pull the vaccum line which one on there did you mean?? so a good start would be to try cam sensor, then maybe 02 sensors??

Disconnect the vacuum line that is running from the intake manifold to the fuel pressure regulator. Start the engine and and let it run and go out and see if fuel is leaking out of the vacuum port that is on the fuel pressure regulator. I guess I need to write a tech article for this and have it stickied.

Change your oil because all that fuel has gone down there and diluted it.
