Initially, I ran into a problem installing the caltracs because I didn't have the correct hangers to mount the caltracs while maintaining my 2/4 drop. After a little research, I found these hangers, which allow the caltracs to mount while maintaining the 4" lowering in the rear

No modification was required to the hangers, and I was able to keep the same ride height.

Before I even bought the caltracs, I had heard MANY people say the caltracs only help with wheel hop......and did nothing for traction. I went for a test drive after I installed the caltracs and it is a night and day difference. My traction has improved greatly and of course, no more wheel hop or axle wrap.

I'm not sure why so many people claim that caltracs only help with wheel hop but I can vouch for the traction improvement that caltracs yield. Everyone's setup is different, but this is just my experience with caltracs.
