a sprint booster eliminates the "lag" in throttle response, between the pedal and the tb, and i dont believe a tune can help that, its a fairly new product it was used and invented over in europe and recently started selling in the states for american cars, my boss put one in his jeep srt-8 and says its rediculous, and they give you a 30 day money back guarantee if you dont like it , but who wouldnt like better throttle response? haha, yeah, its called a "sprint booster" we sell them at my work (mothers performance) here in jersey, i wanna do one in my truck cause i have a superchips in it and i dont want to do a tune till i get my cam which might be atleast 6 months, but i dont think a tune can do what it does anyways?

this graph is straight from their website and tells the entire story

when you press the pedal to what you think is half throttle, this thing adds some voltage so the throttle blade is open more, so in effect you are getting more than half throttle. Throttle position is directly proportional to the voltage, so more voltage = more throttle.

Obviously your boss loved it because when he thought he was giving half throttle it was more like 3/4 throttle, and obviously the engine makes more power at 3/4 throttle than it does half throttle.

This is why I said just press the pedal harder since that is all happening.

    SprintBooster Power Converter - www.SprintBoosterSales.com

    Results:

At low revs, the engine responds at approximately half the time in comparison to before.

The delay time whilst accelerating in 3rd and 4th gear and the engine in the mid-range, is almost zero.

Big differences in the higher rev range.

Improved response for downshifts and safer overtaking.

Overall safety and more fun on the road!

not sure I'd trust any device that lies to the PCM.
