    Angry Heads up guys

So I had a Scorpion rocker arm break on me. It didn't break at WOT, racing or anything like that - It broke under the lightest drving conditions possible. I was cruisin down the freeway with the cruise control set. The check engine light started to flash, I turned the radio down and heard a loud ticking noise then I was stranded at a gas station for 8 hours. Here's what I found when I pulled the valve covers. Thought you all might be interested in this......

That's a common failure point on the Scorpions. Why 1.8:1 rockers? The added load from increasing the ratio from 1.7 to 1.8 put a lot more stress on the rockers. If you want more lift you should get a bigger cam.

Bummer deal on the busted rocker, I have the 1.7s on my 408.

DANG! Good thing it was only that and it didn't cause anything else... What happened to the piece that broke off? Chewed up by a valve spring or other rocker? Mess up any valves? If not, you are one lucky SOB.
