ABS light comes on and goes off now
So most of yall know i blew the drive shaft and trans out of my truck a few weeks back. I got new built trans and new driveshaft. My ABS light came on right after the trans n shaft blew. Now its still on, and some times my speedo goes a lil crazy. Its off some times when i start the truck but if i accelerate hard it comes back on and speedo goes crazy at that time. Any suggestions? Where should i look? What all is hooked to the ABS sensor wise?
sounds like you damaged the pickup sensor on the tailshaft of the trans. Replace it and see if all is well, again.

I replaced that sensor with the one from my other trans when i did the rebuild. Would damaged wire on that sensor cause the same problem?
Yeah, it could....and wire troubles are not uncommon there but if it started after the major failure there may be something bent or damaged as suggested.
Sensor was off of my other trans, transmission is a different trans that was completly rebuilt. I will get under there this weekend and check all of the wiring and see whats up. Thanks for the suggestions guys...!!!!
