    dbw conversion

    just wondering what all is needed in order to switch my 01 5.3 to a dbw tb
    2004 Chevy Tahoe, 5.3L bifuel, runs on both gas and propane.

    why would you want a dbw anyway?
    02 Sierra... motorless for now.

    i am trying to do a tbss intake swap and i either need a cable driven 90mm 4 bolt tb or need to convert to dbw

    just buy a nice Nick Williams 90mm cable type TB. You can get them on LS1Tech pretty cheap or $350 new. I got an LS2 intake, NW 90mm TB, injectors and fuel rails for $350 shipped off there.

    ive looked at the nick williams tb and they looked like they were 3 bolt

    they are actually 5 bolt. You can use the standard 4 bolts or the fifth if you have an application for it. It also could be a 3 bolt pattern. It is setup to lend itself to numerous applications.
