5.3L build and Truck its going in :)

Hey guys, new to the forums. Here is my 5.3L build that will be going in my Black 1992 C1500. Things Done: Chromoly rings, SDPC Z+221 Cam ( 221/226 .565/.560 114 LSA ), ZO6 valve springs, double chain billet timing set ( had to clearance the front cover ). All new cam bearings, rod bearings, main bearings, seals, gaskets, o-rings, freeze plugs. Honed cylinder walls, machined heads. Just finished the grinding, cutting and sanding on the top of the stock manifold, going to be painting it a flat black. A set of red aluminium fuel rails and steel braided cross over ready for that. Red MSD plug wires. Ordering starter, alternator, power steering pump and a set of Schoenfeld LT Headers and will be having them cermaic coated. Then just wiring harness / ECM, flexplate spacer and motor mount adapters. YAY!

    thanks, i like it.

the engine and tranny are pushing 200k though, so i'm hoping to start a 5.3/6.0 build sometime in the near future.

on an unrelated note, what do you use to smoke the lights?

Its a mixure of clear coat and black until you get the correct opacity you are looking for. add more black to go darker more clear you lighten the smoke up.

i am going to run this set up with the matching FPR and a liquid fuel pressure guage. It took a while to verify that it would work on the stock truck manifold but finally got an answer
