Hey guys I love the site! Both fun and informative. I have an 82 c10 that I am putting an ls1 and auto tranny from a 2000 ss camaro. What gears should I run in diff 3.73 or 4.10. Any input would be great.

What size tires do you plan on running?

27.58 is the tire diameter. I think the 4.10s will work great with that tire size. Do you have an idea of what rpm you want to run at a given MPH or gear range. Are you going to take it to the track? 1/8 or 1/4 mile?

Mainly street use but I would like to take it to the track to see what it can do.

I just had 4.10s put in mine. I love them. My mpg is the same to better than with 3.42s.

it's probably a little high RPM for fuel mileage but it's where I like it.
