    New Guy from San Antonio

    How's it going ya'll?
Been a member here since Allen mentioned I should check it out when I was at the shop, just never got around to posting. I recently started playing with the idea of swapping a LSx into my '96 C1500 and found my way back here.
The truck is a 1996 Chevy C1500 extended cab that I bought from the original owner with 116k miles in great shape. It has a vortec 350, 3.73's and the infamous g80. I'd been playing with the idea of selling it to pick up something fast again (had a 2000 T/A with a cammed LQ9) when my buddy mentioned just building up my truck, and here I am checking out who has swapped what, and how much this is going to run me.
Here is the truck, was completely stock when I bought it aside from a dirty K&N:

I added dual Cherry Bomb Extreme's with an h-pipe, new tires and a Nelson tune and called it good, until a lady decided it would look better if she ran her mountaneer into the side of it.

I used that as an excuse to have the truck demolded, so this is how the truck sits now

My plan is to pick up a low mileage LQ9 (granted a 408 would be sick,) do cam, heads and intake and maybe a turbo or two down the line and throw either a built 4l60e or mild 4l80e behind it. I don't plan on having the fastest truck on the planet (it seems many of you have beat me to it, lol) but I'd like to make this one more of a threat.

An LS3 would be sweet in there.
