I would like to ask advise or opinions on a radiator. Since they stole the stock one when they took the original 350. I need to replace it.

Is the stock radiator ('92 w/350) good enough for the swapped in LS1.
Or should I replace it with something else.

    And yes, what about fans?

I did a search, didn't find anything specific and got tired of reading. Ya, lazy.

    TIA

The 28" radiator is standard fare for an LS1 engine. The 34" radiator is for the big trucks but it's more efficient. Need a 28" rad? I've got one that came out of my 93 C1500 if you need it. Make an fair offer and pay shipping and it's your's. It's boxed up and ready to travel. I've even got the factory fan shroud if you need it, not necessary if you're going with electric fans, though.

I think I may do some shopping for a 34". Reason is at this time I will be running my trans fluid through it, and the extra 6" would help will be good. I am also thinking shipping to 98373 will be spendy. I will check on local prices. Thanks.

Actually the 28" might be my choice as I am going to duct in a dual air intake, running from each side of the radiator though K&N panel filters one on each side.

Just ran out and measured the support opening and it is 28.50 wide. So the extra 6.00 would catch no flow anyway.

That depends. Removal, not with bolts but easily by drilling out the spot welds (many years of bodywork expirience) with both out it would open up to 38.50.
