I'm swapping out a 4.3L in my '99 NBS Silverado for a 5.3L from a 2000 Silverado. I got the engine and frame mounts from the 2000; the passenger side frame mount swaps fine but the 2000 driver's side mount doesn't look anything like the '99. Anybody know what it'll take to get the 5.3L bolted up to my '99?
You might need a different mount from the 99 truck since that was the first year for the NBS truck. The mount for the V8 might be a one year only thing on the 99. I'd get with a GM dealer and find out for sure. Maybe Hummertech will see this and be able to check the PN on that mount.

what ull need to do is get a 1/2 ton v8 mount set and ur v6 mounts, and u piece them together to make it work. i just did the 4.3 to 6.0 swap and thats what we did for that problem. if im not mistaken u use ur stock passenger side v6 mount, and then for the drivers side u use the top of the v8 mount, and the bottom of the v6 mount to make it work, maybe i can take pics soon and show u what i mean.
