    Thumbs up

On an 88-98 GMC/Chevy Fullsize Truck...where the two heater hoses connect to the firewall...There is a third black plastic nipple sticking out right next to the heater hose nipples. What is this one for??? Is it an over-flow, for when the heater core fails??? Or what? Thanks in advance. Gar

That is where your water drips out of if your A/C builds up condensation like it does so well in in TX. It also doubles as a drain should your heater core bust but it doesn't work well for that. In the notorious words from the song.... " Don't ask me how I know. "

While we're on this subject, does anyone have a pinout of the sealed connection going through the fire wall by the heater hoses on a 97? I have every pinout but that one. I guess I could trace it back from the main harness plug in the fire wall if not.

    Thanks!
