    which ls oil pan to use

    hey guys in trying to figure out which oil pan to buy for an ls3 in to a 2wd obs. im looking for the one that would hold the most oil and will fit properly. thanks

    any one knows if the fbody ls1 oil pan will fit and how much oil capacity it has

    go to the conversions section and you'll see it fits. Fbody and all Gen3 truck pans will work in an OBS conversion. 6 quart pans.

    thanks guys. i found some info on the ctsv it says that it takes 6 1/2 quarts , im going to do some more research and decidice on either one

    Why are you worried about that extra .5 qt? Everyone else uses the fbody and truck without issue....

    I'd run whatever is on the motor. The only reason to change is with a custom pan and dry sump system.

    the motor comes without an oil pan , its an lsx376 , and I would like to put a supercharger later, so im just trying to get one that fits and holds more oil.
    i looked at the part number for the f body pan and it says it hold 5 1/2 quarts. but than people say it takes 6 1/2
