    Keep 89 OBS or switch to NBS?

    Im not sure if i posted this in the right place or not so if it is wrong please move it. Whats your opinion on switching to a newer body style as far as appearance and pricing?

    Spend a little dough and get the newer engine in your truck then enjoy not having a truck payment!

    Agreed, the OBS is slightly lighter IIRC

    95 C1500 LM7, built 4L60e, Circle D 3200, LT's, Nelson tune, open differential, 3.42, and LS1 e-fans. Tractionless

    Alright another quick question guys what do you think about putting a new dash like a 99+ in the OBS?

    Will I need to install a BCM too? It's already hot a 94 dash in it I just love the look of the new dash

    was thinking about doing the 99+ dash swap but i think it would be to much work and it would never look right

    1989 RCSS 5.3/4L60E swap
    - 224/230 .581.591 112lsa,
    - 3200 Stall
    - DJM 4/6 drop
    - Nelson Tuned

    Building the truck GM never did..
