Quick question about S&P sensor adapters

I bought the coolant and oil pressure gauge sensor adapters. But Ive run in to a problem... Since they're chromed or something I don't think they are grounding the sensor because my gauges are maxing out? Anyone else ran into this problem or found a work around?

Never had a problem with their chrome plated adapters but my trucks were all 92-93 models.

May be a ground issue in the dash. Are you using the sensors that came from your old engine or did you replace them with different ones?

Meaning you missed a ground wire or the sensors werent grounding through the adapter?
