Need advice on headers and exhaust setup

Hi, were in the process of building a 408 for my dads 99 silverado, were looking for 1 & 3/4" headers that fit good, we were hoping for longtubes also but there doesn't seem to be many options that I have seen so far for a 4x4 truck. Also do they make an x-pipe for silverados? Thanks in advance guys!

I have one more question too, I bought a set of precision 42lb injectors off of a guy from ls1tech.com, but they are a lot taller then the stock 6.0 truck injectors, the only way I can see making them fit would be to put spacers on where the rail bolts into the intake manifold, is that normal? I will take a picture of the injectors when I get back from lunch.

X pipes are universal to any truck just depends where you install it, those 1 3/4 headers arent gonna let that 408 breathe very well, it will but not enough look for at lease 1 7/8's

ARH or LPP may have what youre looking for !

Very common. They must be fbody LS1 injectors.

So there shouldn't be a problem if I put a spacer on the intake manifold where the rail bolts on to?

not at all, a very common modification. Usually those injectors won't be plug and play, you'll need new pigtails or adapters to wire the injectors into the harness.

Ya they are definately a different style, I found some adapters from FAST that I think will work. Anyway thanks for your help.
