I have a walbro pump I bought from nelson perf. I had started and run the truck a few times with it and it died, come to found out (from a post here on the forum) that my hose to the pickup split. Dropped the damn tank and fixed it, put everything back together. Started it and ran it a few more times (only been started 15-20 times total, maybe the longest for 5 min.

Anyway fast forward to today, I decide to try to take my truck on the road for the first time. Back out of the garage and truck dies. No fuel pres. Check and the pump isn't running, have power to, and in the ground.

Pull the tank and the pump. I put power to it and you can here it try to start, but it doesn't move. Oh, and I forgot to mention when I pulled it, the filter was laying in the bottom of the tank. It never did seem to hold onto the pump real well, was always a little nervous about it.

So anyway, it seems as though this pump is shot, and I don't want another Walbro. What would be a good pump to run that will fit onto the factory pickup that I can get at a local parts store? I don't want to wait to ship one, I want something now (I"m very impatient). I saw in another thread an EP381, but don't know anything about it other than napa's website says it's only 43psi.

    Let the suggestions fly!

    suggestion? Hmmmm... Walbro!

Sorry, I love their pumps and have have never had one quit even though I've killed numerous ACDelco pumps.
