I decided to go the cheap route and piece together a turbo for my truck. Now all i need is some help on where in the hell to get power for my oil pump. I know it needs to be a power source that's only on when the truck is on. Any help on this guys? I'm running it on the same principal as the sts setup. But it's only costing me about $1400! Gotta love EBay!

You'll need a relay to supply the power. Go straight to a power power source, even the starter lug if need be to get power to your pump relay. Buy a minimum of a 40 amp relay, 50 amp preferable. You can hook to any pink/black striped wire in the engine wire loom for a switched power signal to turn the relay on. So, the relay will have battery power in, battery power out, switched positive power and a ground wire for the relay.

Here's how I'd wire it....

Buy a Bosch Type 40 or 50 amp relay.

Run a wire from the large power wire at the starter to lug #30 on the relay.
Run a wire from lug #87, not #87a, to the positive side of your electric oil pump
Run a wire from a pink/black striped wire in the pcm loom or some other switched power source to lug #85
Run a wire from lug #86 to a bare metal location on the vehicle for ground.

tap it in to the fuel pump wire (grey) like on the STS kit. That way it will only work when the fuel pump comes on, and it will shut off after 5 seconds and no starting.

I like the idea of tapping into the fuel pumps power source. I'm not electronically inclined so i might need some more help finding the correct wire. If ya'll have anymore ideas don't hesitate to shoot them this way. I'll be gettin under the truck tomorrow to try and figure out those wires. Thanks all.

its the grey wire. you can tap into it under your hood by the large fuse block. just open up the wire loom and find the grey wire. just to be sure id pierce it with a test light and test it by turning the key on and making sure the light stays on only about 5 sec. with out starting.
