Well, step one to keep my truck mine....ALARM FROM HELL!!!!!

Got me a top of the line COMPUSTAR alarm system installed today in Frisco. Fiance' took the truck in for me and waited while they installed it in just over two hours. Installed the 2WSSR-AS alarm system CompuStar. Got one hell of a deal too since he charges only $125 for the install and $239 for the alarm. That price is better than what I can get one off of Ebay for and it gives me the lifetime warrantee on the unit which you don't get if you buy it off of Ebay. One of the new features is they have a paging device installed in the windshield. If someone wants to page me to come to the truck all they have to do is tap the windshield three times and the system pages me. I like the fact that the remote uses FM signal waves and is good to 6000 feet away.

That sounds Like A good idea, I should do the same.. Was looking into Getting This GPS Tracker Thingy in addtion to an alarm From hell, Once My truck Is "Better" But I am a good Year away from that (gonna go sit in iraq and save up some $$ for 12 months startin october)

"Better" to me = Built 6.0 with trick heads wacky cam Sts Kit With the Upgraded Turbo, Big Intercooler Yadada yad Yada, Hmmm... A built up trans would be good

Here is what I had in mindLandAirSea. It's available cheaper on Ebay and only costs 25 cents per ping and no monthly charges. It's also a lot more compact.
