    2005 Cluster Lights not working......

I bought a 2005 2500 HD and the instruent cluster and a/c control lights are not working. Any ideas? The radio lights work. I checked all related fuses and everything is good.

burnt out? it seems like when one burns out they all start to burn out. good excuse to switch to LEDs.

Another thing I noticed is that the radio sometimes does not shut off when I open the door. Any suggestions?

some one put a aftermarket head unit in and cut the wires and had all the wires a mess and the dimmer wire, orange i think, wasnt hooked up and nothing was right. i went to a salvage yard and cut an oem harness and some spare wire, and i got a custom kit- mount and wire harness, got the wires straight- bam, i had dash lights and all the interior electrical junk that didnt work back. if the stereo wires are straight, maby the dimmer switch?

It still has factory radio in it. The dimmer switch seems to be ok. The odometer and radio still fade with the dimmer switch.
