    P1518 Reduced Engine Power

I have reduced engine power. When i press the gas petal i get no response. I bought a throttle body and the connector that plugs into the throttle body today and i still have reduced engine power. It is throwing a P1518 code. Then it was throwing a P1518 and P1516. Then sometimes it will crank up and it will be normal again! I really need help. I am suspose to be in MS for work tomorrow but i have been fighting this Reduced engine power for a month. It went away for a week or so but then it came back for good. I have checked all by grounds and wires. It all started after i put a new tranny in.... Replaced the battery and it quit for like 2 weeks. But it always comes back! Now i cant get it to clear. If you have any suggestions please help me.
The P1518 is Idle Speed Control...

You've mentioned the three main causes for this....wires broken inside the insulation 1-4" from the throttle body connector, bad grounds (really check the one on the back of the block behind the passenger side head), and a weak battery. Make sure the battery cable connections are clean and tight as well.
