    finally got on the dyno

allen and i took her to the street for a retune after a 4" diesel exhaust threw my tune way outta wack. i was running the 5# spring that would net 6#'s. after the tune it felt stronger and still was learning.we decided to dyno since there wasnt much going on after murderedoutgmc's truck (nice to meet you by the way)was coming off the dyno. strapped her down and could only get like 430 hp...worked on it and still with the same result....put in a 8# spring that netted 10#'s and let it cool down some. got everything going and netted a whopping 100 hp more with only 4# more boost at like 526hp and 533tq and this was on these heavy ass 20's as well...we only took it to 135 mph and the hp was still climbing...i told allen that was good enough and unstrapped off the dyno...thanks again allen for a great tune and the awsome power..here is the sheet:http://www.ls1truck.com/upload/files/105/dyno.jpg

I wish I could get a spring that would net out two more pounds. Why do you think it was doing that?

I wonder if you can just add a washer/shim under the spring to get two more pounds.

I was thinking there might be a difference in spring tension that might be allowing more pounds out of it?

Whos waste gate, you may be able to make your gate and adustable one. by using a set screw, with a shim on the inside. Then make small tightening until you get the desired boost.

Nice seeing you again Alton, btw, I'll get that next retune out today!

Also, I think the power was 536hp, I'll double check.
When you're back in town, let's do 15psi, hahahah.

Congrad to you and Allen. Do you have any install pics. Boost is a wonderful thing. I thought the 430 @ 6 was not bad at all and the truck sure did like the 10#.
