I'm about to grind off some crappy old hangers, and I was wondering what I should repaint the chassis with. I don't want her to rust, but I know it's coated in some greasy junk. Anything I can get at a local parts store like Pep Boys? Thanks

I think Wallyworld sells that under-coat stuff. Would that be good enough?

Oh wait, maybe that's O'reilly and I think it's made by 3M so it's prolly pretty good.

if you use por-15, you also have to paint over it because the sunlight attacks por-15, but follow the directions and the stuff is the shit!!! i like to paint over it with black rustoleum, also por-15 sells a metal prep to "wash" the metal to promote adhesion.
