Six of one, half dozen of another but tires would you put on a 2002 Silverado 4x4 with a 4.8? I am looking at Bridgestone Deuller 265 75 R 16's. Any other suggestions? I do not offroad at all and use the truck to tow my Ranger Fisherman which is about 2000lbs.

I think you're going to have to look at a different size. 4x4s haven't had 15" tires since the early 80s if I remember correctly.

You should have 245-75-16 Having said that it really depends on what your going to use them for and climate. IMO Mich LTX M/S is an awsome tire for tread wear and comfort but is very expensive. You will not beable to get out of your own parking spot in the snow or sand either, expect to pay about $150. You could save a few bucks and go with the BFG Long Trail T/A it is also a MAST product and is owned by Michelin and is comp to the LTX about $110 a tire. The best bang for the buck I think is the Yokohama GeoLanders there only about $87. I have seen nothing but praise in the last 2 years from the Yokohamas. These are the best 3 OE replacement tires I think. Also keep your eye on Sumitomo they have slowly became the the 3rd largest tire company? Though I dont have any feedback on them yet.

I guess a lot would also depend on if you are going for a particular look with your truck. Mine never will go offroading, but I like the look so I'm running some agressive tires on mine. Are you just wanting a good street tire, the offroad look, allterrain? Any additional input?

Great replies...I thank you guys for your input. My truck does a tad bit of towing...my bass boat....and NO off-roading. Never will.

I was checking up these Sumitomo tires....6 year warranty?

Check into the Nitto Terra Grappler AT's, smooth ride, good looks, and price is decent.

I was looking at them, but they didnt come with white letters...

I opted for the 285 M/T radials and those are cheap tires for having the M/T name

ride is great and and are a nice A/T type of tire
