I have a 91 Silverado with 60/40 bench. This was the last year without head rests. I would like to swap in newer seats with head rests. Buckets would be OK. Anyone know what year seats will bolt in without too much modification? Thanks.

A lazy boy in the truck would be super sweet. I'm headin' to the ga-rage right meow. Or maybe I can just have the la-z-boy logo embroidered into the head rest when I get the new katzkins.![]()

Your buckets should cost around 500 or so for the top line that is all leather which is pretty high I guess. Their cheaper kits and factory leather seats have vinyl on the sides. They are simple but time consuming. The center flip seat in the nnbs can be a pain. The one I did in a tahoe never went back together the same. I retried three times and gave up. This was back when the new tahoe had been out for about 5 months so I'm sure any fitment issues have been resolved by now.

In my 91 with 60/40 bench I bolted up buckets from like a 97 i think? Both trucks are extended cab and the passenger side seat from 97 was loooonnnger in the bracket then the bolt pattern from my 91 bench. The one i bought had that "easy-out" feature where it slides way up.(I think the rear inner bolt on the floor is there on the passenger side, you just have to locate it since it wasn't used for the bench)
To make along story short, I could bolt up the back holes in the pass seat perfectly, then I drilled holes thru the floor for the front bolt holes, big bolt, fender washers underneath and the plastic surround and it looks 100% stock. The driver's side fit with no modification. Now I have headrest, armrest, and room for a shifter!
