    CAI elbow color (dye or paint)

    I just recieved a CAI and the elbow is red, id like to dye or paint it black. what can i use? is it regular rubber or plastic or what?

    may be silicone. Try some boot leather dye. Can be bought at shoe repair stores or hobby centers that sell leather tooling supplies.

    you can also use the Duplicolor spray vinyl dye.

    The duplicolor works great, I have used it one several things even rubber..

    im going to try it. you would think the company would swap it out but they said theyre just a middle man and cant control what color i get. the pictures showed black...
