    nbs console swap??

    ok so i wanna swap my jumpseat for a full console, i found this which is a pretty good price and in my town, is this the same console that can be connected to the dash with another piece?

    yea looks like it is missing the front part that connects to the dash

    yea i found the front piece, i was just wondering if it connects to this piece, thanks

    It does, but in your truck you will have to get a new bottom half of the dash, that is also the wrong console for your year. That console will not hook to the dash right without the bottom half of a 00-02. The bottom half of a 00-02 will not fit right with your dash bezel, you will not be able to open the ashtray or power outlet flap. To do it right you should get 03-07classic console and bottom half dash.

    However, that console should work fine without the front piece.

    any time buddy. remember, you will need the full lower half of the dash; knee bolster, glove box, and I could be wrong but there may be a center piece that the console mates up with.

    That center piece is part of the glovebox assembly.

    I know it is on the 99-02, but I was thinking it may be different on the 03+ for some reason. 99-02 you dont have to change the glovebox out to add a console and 03+ you do.
