Thread: Caddy Tail Lights

    Caddy Tail Lights

Just Got A Ticket For My Caddy Taill Lights(didn't Know They Were Illegal). The Cop Said I Have To Add Another Light On The Side. Any Help Would Be Appreciated, Spent Too Much Time And Money To Take Them Out.

if they are recessed, then they are illegal. texas law states that you have to have a reflector visable from 50 ft away from all sides of the vehicle(i was given a warning on my tinted taillights the other day)

Sounds to me like a classic case of the "power trippin' piggy". He probably didn't get it up the bum from his gay lover the night before so he decided to take it out on the first person he pulled over, which happened to be you.........

I don't care much for law enforcement, in case anyone has noticed.

i BELIEVE you can add some red marker lights on rear (yellow on front) and be covered. The one's that go on the side. BMWs and other euros have them factory on the front, duallys have them on the rear. Either mount them low, or even fab up something with LEDs.
blown transmissions are about as useful as 97% of the guys on this forum

I would just have some red LED's put in the side somewhere to cover you if you're that worried.

i must not have said it right, the reflectors have to be seen in broad daylight and at night when the vehicle is not in motion.

Can red LED's not be seen in broad daylight from 50 yards away?
