    what size tire should i run

    im thinking bout doing a 2-4 drop on my truck and wondering what size tire i will need to run on 20's to be able to not rub, right now im running 285 50 20

    will be missed.....05 Silverado extended cab sportside
    99 tahoe: 5.7 stock for now
    08 cbr600rr: full yosh exhaust, power commander, timing retarder, 520 conversion with sprocket -1 +2 and k&n filter

    Depends on the offset of your wheel, but I would say 275/45/20 would be ok.

    I don't think you would rub with those 285's. Why not stick with those to fill up the wheel well even more?

    i think the wheels are 20x10 or something like that, i got em off a buddy id have to ask him, i live in a pretty rough town, i was gonna see if i might be able to run what i have, i think the rear ill have to go smaller since the truck is a stepside, the tire now is almost perfectly even with the fender and there is a small lip, i was thinking 275's at least but i wanted to get some opinions

    i have 3/4 drop and run SSS wheels with 255/50 up front and 305/40 out back

    285/50 is pretty meaty tire. Judging by what I can see in the pics, they will probably rub with some drop. A 275/45 is still a pretty beefy tire.

    I had 285/50/20 and it rubbed in front with no drop and so does the 275/55 i have now. I'd go with nothing larger then a 275/45 up front

    your truck is cursed man. I wouldn't think you would have these issues with that tire on factory wheels, but I'm no tire dude.
